Staff win Spirit Cup
The Spirit Cup returned during snowcoming week as the seniors looked to become two-time champions.
The staff overcame every class with a victory in the powder tuff championship against the juniors.
The staff came in first with 525 points, followed by the seniors with 425 points.
The juniors came in third place with 325 points and the Freshman and Sophomore classes tied for fourth with zero points.
Mr. Michael Whalen, Student Council adviser, liked the participation throughout the classes.
“I thought the participation was good considering the four-day week along with the snow day on Tuesday,” Whalen said.
Mr. Chris Torok, mathematics teacher, was happy with the victory but hopes that it wasn’t because of the classes’ lack of participation.
“I hope the staff won because we put more effort into it since we couldn’t participate in the lunch games,” Torok said.
