Boys basketball lost to Creek Friday, Feb. 7, but beat Owosso Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Boys basketball fell to Swartz Creek and won against Owosso in its last two games.

Kearsley, now 2-14, was led by junior Jo Coleman with a combined total of 31 points.

Junior Braylon Silvas chipped in 29 points.

The Hornets will travel to Fenton Friday, Feb. 14, to face the Tigers in a Valentine’s Day showdown.

Swartz Creek

The Hornets fell to Swartz Creek 74-52 in a Metro League game Friday, Feb 7.

Coming off of his highest scoring game in the previous week, Silvas put up 23 against the Dragons.

Coleman added another 19 points.

Owosso

Kearsley beat Owosso 66-28 in a Metro League matchup Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Sophomore Tyler Csintyan led the Hornets with 14 points.

The Hornets only allowed the Trojans to put up 2 points in the second and third quarters, allowing them to win.
