The Hornets started the game strong.

Junior Jace Chapman wrapped up the first quarter with a three-pointer, bringing the Hornets to a 22-18 lead. 

The Tigers took the lead in the second quarter before sophomore Tyler Csyntian tied the game up 28-28 with three minutes left.

The first half ended with the Hornets down 39-33.

Bendle maintained their lead throughout the second half.

The Hornets ended the third quarter down 59-50.

Kearsley had a hard time throughout the fourth quarter, scoring only six points to Bendle’s 16.

The Hornets are now 1-8 overall and 0-8 in the Metro League.

The Hornets will host Linden Friday, Jan. 24.
