Girls bowling stomped Clio 29-1 Saturday, Jan. 4.

Girls bowling traveled to Colonial Lanes for a Metro League match against Clio Saturday, Jan. 4, winning 29-1.

The Baker games started strong for the Hornets and they led with games of 141 and 181 to Clio’s 116 and 114.

The Hornets gained a 10-0 lead after the Baker games.

Individual games favored the Hornets as they scored 1,047 and 902 pins in the rounds compared to Clio’s 734 and 770.

Total pinfall went to the Hornets 2,271 to 1,734.

Seniors Samantha Timm (226 and 169), Imari Blond (234), and Hannah Simms (150) competed well for the team.

Juniors Allison Robbins (197), Allison Eible (206 and 148), Megan Timm (203), Emilea Sturk (215 and 201) also led the team to victory.

Now 4-0 in Metro League, the Hornets will buzz against Corunna Saturday, Jan. 11, at Riverbend Lanes.
