Girls bowling rose above Holly with a 28-2 victory at Grand Blanc Lanes Wednesday, Dec. 11.

The Baker games started strong for the Hornets as they led with totals of 159 and 208 the the Bronchos’ 118 and 115.

This gave the Hornets a 10-0 lead.

Kearsley’s domination continued into the individual matchups. The Hornets led both sets by margins of 1,082-627 and 913-678, respectively.

The final score favored the Hornets.

The total pinfall went to the Hornets 2,362-1,538.

Top scores from the Hornets included juniors Allie Robbins (223 and 253), Megan Timm (233 and 171), Emilea Sturk (222 and 199), and Allison Eible (201).

Senior Samantha Timm,(203), sophomore Lydia Boggs (162), and freshman Sara Ritchie (128) also chipped in.

The Hornets are 2-0 in the Metro League.

The Hornets will swarm Grand Blanc Lanes Wednesday, Dec. 18, to take on Goodrich.
