Volleyball buzzes over Falcons, clawed by Tigers

Volleyball beat LakeVille Monday, Oct. 14, but lost to Fenton Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The volleyball team beat its first opponent of the season Monday, Oct. 14, winning over LakeVille 3-2. The Hornets lost to Fenton Wednesday, Oct. 16, by a score of 3-0.
In the first game against LakeVille, the Falcons took the first match 25-18.
During the second game, the Falcons continued to fly above the Hornets 25-12.
The Hornets made a great comeback, winning the fourth and fifth matches by margins of 27-25 and 25-23, respectively.
In the last match, the Hornets rose to a 15-10 victory.
Fenton beat the Hornets in three straight matches.
In the first game, the Tigers dominated 25-12.
The Tigers roared ahead with a 25-13 victory.
During the last game, the Hornets picked up their pace but ultimately lost by a score of 25-19.
Kearsley is 1-8 on the season and 0-8 in the Metro League.
The Hornets will hit the court Monday, Oct. 21, visiting Holly for their second to last Metro League game.
