Baseball fell to both Linden and Clio high schools over the past week.

Over the past week, the Hornets played two games against Linden and Clio high schools.

On Tuesday, May 28, baseball fell to Clio 6-3 at Mt. Morris High School.

The loss ended the team’s season since it was in the first round of the MHSAA Division 2 district tournament.

On Thursday, May 23, the Hornets lost to Linden 5-2.

As Kearsley celebrated its graduating players on senior night, Linden gave up two runs and seven hits.

Sophomore Kody Easton gave up four runs on five hits.

Despite the loss, the game was well played by both teams.

The Hornets finished 3-13 in the league, placing them seventh in the Metro League.
