Tennis serves up Bay City Western

The tennis team defeated Bay City Western 7-1 at Delta College on Monday, April 8.

Winning for the singles flights were seniors Stephanie Lane, Valerie Entermenn, Chloe Clarambeau, Claudia Moore

Lane swept her No. 1 singles opponent winning 6-2, 6-3.

Entermenn out scored her opponent at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 7-5.

Clarambeau, at No. 3 singles, won 6-4, 6-1.

At No. 4 singles, Moore defeated her opponent in two sets 6-4, 6-2 .

Earning their first win of the season was the No.1 double team of seniors  Brooklynn Smith and Mickeely Dias, 6-1, 6-1.

Taking their second win of the season were the No.2 doubles team of seniors Emily Jones and Giulia Amato with a score of 6-0, 6-2.

The No. 4 doubles team of senior Briahna Greer and junior Kasie Palmer won its flight with two sets of 6-0.

The Hornets are now 2-0 on the season.

Kearsley will be in action again Saturday, April 13, at the Lapeer Lightning Quad.
