The cheer team took first at the second Metro League competition, which was at Owosso on Monday, Feb. 11.

On Monday, Feb. 11, the competitive cheer team took first at the second Metro League competition at Owosso.

The win pushed Kearsley into a first-place tie with Swartz Creek in the league.

Kearsley finished first with a total of  748.74 points.

Swartz Creek earned second place with a total of 744.24 points.

Clio placed third with 726.54 points.

Kearsley had 226.80 points in the first round, 213.34 points in the second round, and 308.60 in round three.

The Hornets’ next competition is Thursday, Feb. 14, at Clio for the third Metro League competition.
