The Hornets were defeated by Linden 55-35 on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Linden defeated the boys basketball team 55-35 in a home game Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Junior Gequez Pano led the Hornets with 11 points.

Following close behind was sophomore Jace Chapman with 10 points.

Coach Paul Adas acknowledges the team’s strengths but still wants to see improvement.

“We need to improve as a team,” Adas said. “We need to improve on our ability to score. Our defense is phenomenal.”

Kearsley is 5-4 overall and 1-4 league.

The Hornets will face Owosso in an away game Friday, Jan. 11.
