Boys’ bowling team loved beating Clio on Valentine’s Day
The boys’ bowling team beat Clio 29-1 on Feb. 14.
The Hornets were only three pins away from a 30-point victory.
Nearly perfect, Kearsley’s only lost point was in the second individual games.
Senior KC O’Brien shot a 202 against Clio’s Anthony Sebastion, who rolled a 204.
Senior Anthony Kelley recorded Kearsley’s high game at 230 in the first individual game, beating Clio’s Brendan Burger, who threw a 140.
Kearsley toppled nearly 1,000 more pins than Clio, with final pin totals coming in at 2,492-1,517.
The team shares the Flint Metro League title with Swartz Creek and Brandon. All three teams finished with an 11-3 record.
Kearsley’s next competition is the league singles tournament on Feb. 21.
