Girls’ bowling beats Clio
League win streak improves to 54

The girls’ bowling team faced off against Clio in their last match of the season on Feb. 14.
Knowing that the Hornets already had the league championship secured, this match did not put pressure on the team.
The Hornets beat Clio 30-0 in what would be the last match for the five seniors during their high school career, increasing their league win streak to 54 wins.
In the first baker game, the Hornets shot a 234 game to Clio’s 161, taking the first four points and getting off to another astonishing start.
During the second baker game the Hornets continued to show their dominance shooting a 223 game against Clio’s 130 game.
The Hornets shot a 457 total compared to a 291 total, allowing the Hornets to take an early 10-0 lead.
In the first individual game, the Hornets were lead by senior Teagan MacDonald, who shot a 222 game.
The Hornets shot a total of 1,015 compared to Clio’s 788 series, which gave Kearsley nine points and advanced their lead to 19-0.
In the second individual game, the Hornets shot a 914 against Clio’s 684.
Senior Dani Doolan led the team with a 221 game.
The Hornets won the match and finished the season undefeated.
