Volleyball falls to Linden

The volleyball team fell to Linden 3-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Senior Mackenzie Ramey contributed five kills, senior Chloe Vollmar had 11 digs, and senior Mickeely Dias recorded 14 assists.

Despite the girls’ efforts, they lost all three games by scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-15.

Dias was disappointed by the loss, but remains optimistic of the team’s abilities.

“We played slow, and it definitely was not our best game,” Dias said. “But, hey, we win some, we lose some.”

The team’s next match is Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Owosso.

Kearsley and Owosso are each 1-5 in league play.
