Soccer ties Trojans, Raiders
The soccer team tied its last two games.
The Hornets and Owosso finished 2-2, on Wednesday, Oct. 3, while Kearsley and Flushing tied 0-0 on Monday, Oct. 8.
In the game against the Trojans, both teams fought well until the end, but neither of them could break through.
Senior Stephen White scored the final goal for the Hornets.
White feels that the team needs to work on its defense.
“Our defense was poor, which allowed them to score,” White said.
Kearsley plays its last home game on Wednesday, Oct. 10, against Swartz Creek. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
