Boys’ basketball handles Linden easily
Kearsley holds Linden to 10 points in the second half
The boys’ basketball team played at Linden on Feb. 3 and defeated them 62-49.
Coach Paul Adas said he was impressed with the Hornets’ (8-5, 6-4) defense.
“I was really happy with our team defense tonight,” Adas said. “We held them to 10 points in the second half, which was a big focus for us at halftime.”
The leading scorer for the game was senior Anton Webster. He finished with 16 points and also had three steals.
Junior Deitrick Young scored 13 points.
Senior Bryce Jenkins and junior Liam Grathoff chipped in eight points a piece.
