Softball sweeps the Raiders
The softball team defeated Flushing on the road in both games of a doubleheader Monday, May 14.
The Hornets won the first game 12-0 and the second game 15-0.
Senior Olivia Dunsmore pitched the first game, allowing three hits and striking out six batters.
Leading the team in the first game were sophomore Alexis Echols and senior Kaitlyn Foco.
Sophomore Claire Ouellette had two home runs in the first game.
In the second game, junior Isabelle Easton allowed only two hits and struck out five batters.
Foco had four hits, while Easton had three.
Junior Halle Parish and sophomore Lily Brown each had two hits.
Ouellette and senior Desiree Lewis both had one hit.
Kearsley is 7-5 in the Metro League, tied for third place.
The Hornets will be back in action Thursday, May 17, hosting Holly.
