Softball wins a pair against the Green Devils
The softball team swept Brown City on Monday, April 23.
In the first game, Kearsley won 8-3.
The top hitters of the game were senior Kaitlin Foco, junior Isabelle Easton, junior Jacee Sword, senior Desiree Lewis, and sophomore Alyssa Smith with two hits apiece.
Senior Olivia Dunsmore recorded the win on the mound.
Dunsmore struck out 12 batters.
In the second game, the Hornets beat Brown City 15-8.
Carrying Kearsley with two hits in the second game were Foco, Sword, and Lewis.
The winning pitcher sophomore Lilly Brown, piching four innings.
Easton finished the game, recording a save.
Easton led the Hornets with home runs, hitting one in each game.
The Hornets will be swinging their bats again Monday, April 30, against Linden at home.
The first pitch is at 4 p.m.
