Seniors Tommy Plunkey (left) and Jack Vollmar play in the powdertuff championship on Friday, Feb. 23, against the staff.

All grades competed in the powdertuff volleyball match Thursday, Feb. 21.

The seniors reigned supreme and beat the sophomores. Following the victory, the seniors then played against the freshmen and defeated them by two points to take home the win.

Senior Alex Eible was pleased with his team’s effort.

“Going into the game Thursday, we were all pretty confident,” Eible said. “But we made a few mistakes overall but were able to pull through and win.”

The next day the seniors went against the staff team.

The seniors couldn’t pull through and manage a win, they lost the first two games played against staff and finished their short play time.

The scores from this year closely resemble the outcome of last year’s powdertuff match — the seniors won on Thursday and then the staff won on Friday.
