Girls’ bowling rolls their way past Flushing

The girls’ bowling team beat Flushing for the second time 29-1 on Jan. 13.
The team was led by senior Kayla Emmendorfer who shot games of 245 and 235 for a 480 series.
During the baker games, Kearsley threw games of 173 and 211 for a total of 384, giving the team an early 10-0 lead.
In the first individual game, Emmendorfer and senior Teagan MacDonald led the team with games of 245 and 237, respectively. The Hornets won eight points in this game and bowled a series of 1,022.
After the first individual game, the Hornets had locked up the match, leading 18-1.
But the Hornets did not let up, as they shot a 1,021 series compared to Flushing’s 733 series.
