Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is a light-hearted game

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was released Nov. 22, 2017

iOS and Android users, gather around the campfire to celebrate the release of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing Pocket Camp.

The app was released Nov. 22, 2017, in the United States, but was available in Australia for weeks prior.

In the game you are the new camp manager and it is your responsibility to make sure that all of your animal friends become happy campers.

Animal Crossing keeps its light-hearted and free-spirited aura that other versions had before it.

The pocket camp, though, is the first version of Animal Crossing to come out on smartphones.

Having the app at your fingertips any time of the day makes it more convenient to play.

The controls of the game are quite simple, which is appreciated by those of us who do not have much time to sit down to learn them.

To move, tap or drag your finger on the screen and your character will obediently follow.

Once you get these controls down, you can use the map to travel around and build friendships.

You watch your friendships grow by bringing the animals things they desire.

This is beneficial to you because they will give you items in exchange.

The more your friendships grow, the more you will level up, opening up more opportunities for play.

I also enjoy that you can add your real life friends on the game.

My friends help me out by buying items from my marketbox.

Being able to bond with friends over the game also builds my real life friendships, not just virtual ones.

Another enjoyable perk of the game is decorating your campsite and camper.

You have the ability to customize your space with your own flare.

The themes to choose from are natural, sporty, cool, and cute.

Other things to do include fishing, harvesting fruit, and collecting bugs.

Overall, I feel that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp has a magical and whimsical feeling to it.

The game allows its players to escape their reality to a hang out with animal friends in a cute virtual forest.

I recommend this game to anyone looking for a laid back, light-hearted game.
