Senior Tommy Plunkey plowed into the end zone four times, helping the Hornets amass 44 points and secure a 20-point victory over Owosso during Homecoming.

Scoring the most points in a game this season, the Hornets beat the Trojans 44-24 on Friday, Oct. 13.

Seniors Jacob Kunkel and Taveon Harris also scored touchdowns for Kearsley.

Plunkey said he is happy with his last home game as a senior.

“It definitely felt good, and I think it will leave me with a good memory in the future.”

This is the third time Plunkey has scored four touchdowns in a game in his career.

Plunkey attributes his touchdowns to the blocking of his line.

“My linemen were definitely aggressive, and they played smart in this game,” Plunkey said. “It was a collective effort.  Everyone was on the same page.”
