Soccer loses to Pontiac, beats Mt. Morris

Senior Andy Ruhstorfer led the soccer team with three goals at Mt. Morris on Monday, Sept. 25.

The soccer team lost at Pontiac 7-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Although they didn’t win, three players made a total of 16 saves in the net: Senior Andy Ruhstorfer, freshman Armando Garza, and junior Logan Loyer.

The lone point was scored by senior Bradley Hintz.

“It felt good to be able to contribute to the team,” Hintz said.

The Hornets played at Mt. Morris on Monday, Sept. 25, and beat them 6-3.

Ruhstorfer scored three goals during the game.

“I feel like we have pretty good team work,” Ruhstorfer said, regarding this season.

The team’s next game is against Wednesday, Oct. 4, at home against Owosso.
