Soccer lost to Owosso in the K-O Clash

Kearlsey and Owosso’s second annual K-O Clash took place Friday, April 28, at Kearsley High School.

At this event Kearsley’s spring sports teams played against Owosso’s spring sports teams, including soccer.

The Hornets lost 3-2 in their game against the Trojans.

Junior Marysa Gatica and sophomore Aryiana Laney made the two goals.

The next game will be Monday, May 1, at 5:30 p.m. at Swartz Creek.

The game was originally scheduled to be a home contest for the Hornets, but today’s rainy conditions have muddied the field, sending it to Swartz Creek.
