The girls bowling team improved their record to 13-0 in the season and have a winning streak of 87 matches straight.

On Saturday, Feb. 4, Kearsley beat Clio  28-2 at Richfield Bowl.

The top-scoring Hornets were freshman Imari Blonde with games of 226 and 164, junior Emma Boychuk with games of 221 and 184, and junior Barbara Hawes with games of 220 and 177.

Kearsley began the match with Baker games of 211 and 216 to Clio’s 166 and 147. This put the Hornets in a 10-0 lead.

The Hornets had a 1,038 team game, the highest in the season. The Mustangs scored a 798 team game.

In the second team game, Kearsley had a score of 815 to Clio’s 706.

The total pinfall for the match was Kearsley’s 2,280 to Clio’s 1,817.

The girls only have one league match left on Saturday, Feb. 11, against Linden.
