The Genesee County Bar Association will hold a free holiday dinner for the less fortunate at the Masonic Temple Dec. 18.

This is the 25th year for the dinner.

Located downtown Flint  at 755 South Saginaw Street, the dinner will be hosted by volunteers and open all day.

Members of Student Council will volunteer at the annual dinner.

Volunteers help set up tables and drinks, serve food, and help children who cannot carry their own food.

Senior Adrianna Ruiz is one of this year’s volunteers.

“It’s just nice to know that I’m helping people and makes me appreciate everything in my life a lot more,” Ruiz said.
