The softball team traveled to Clio, splitting with the Mustangs on Monday, May 23.

The opener ended in victory for Kearsley as they beat the Mustangs, 7-4.

Senior Sydney Ouellette took the mound for the Hornets, Ouellette pitched a complete game while giving up eight hits and struck out three batters.

Seniors Brooke Crow, Brianna Finley, and Syerra Burene combined for four hits.

Junior Chloe Jankowski got two RBI.

The Mustangs got revenge in the second game, beating the Hornets 6-4.

Kearsley is now 19-9 overall, 10-4 in the Metro League.

The Hornets play against Corunna at home, Wednesday, May 25, at 4 p.m.
