Softball sweeps the Raiders, remains undefeated

Kearsley softball hosted the Flushing Raiders on Thursday, April 14.
Kearsley would go on to mercy the Raiders 17-3 in the first game of a doubleheader.

In the nightcap, the Hornets shut out the Raiders.
Kearsley would mercy the Raiders after five innings, winning 12-0.
Senior Sydney Ouellette pitched a complete game, going five innings and only giving up three hits. She struck out eight batters.
Offensively, the Hornets were led by senior Briana Finley and junior Brittney Dick.
Finley had a single and a double. She knocked in three runs.
Dick had three hits, an RBI, and stole three bases.
In addition, Ouellette had two singles with four RBI, while sophomore Kaitlyn Foco and junior Kayla Meyer also had two hits apiece.
Kearsley (6-0 overall, 2-0 league) travels to Holly on Monday, April 18. The first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
