The girls’ basketball team lost its game against Holly 63-33 on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at home.

Kearsley started the game off slowly, only scoring three points in the first quarter and 12 in the second quarter. At halftime, the score was 32-15.

Junior Brandi Morgan led the Hornets with nine points and six rebounds.

Senior Diane Bond also contributed, scoring eight points.

On defense, freshman Zaria Mitchner tallied six steals.

Kearsley (3-11 overall, 1-8 league) scored eight points in the third quarter and 10 in the fourth but could not match the Broncho offense.

The Hornets will play Linden on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. at Kearsley’s court.
