‘Ride Along 2’ premiered in theaters Friday, Jan 15.

“Ride Along 2” sure took me along for the ride.

This hilarious movie was filled with comedy, drama, and action.

The comedy stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, who play partners and soon to be brothers-in-law.

Hart is ridiculously funny as he plays Ben Barber, a new police officer for the Atlanta Police Department, who is overly dramatic.

Ice Cube plays James Payton, a seasoned detective, who takes his career seriously and think that Ben is not ready to be a cop.

Though the movie had pretty much the same plot as the original movie “Ride Along,” it still held my attention throughout the entire film.

“Ride Along 2” was released Friday, Jan. 15, and grossed $34 million during the opening weekend.

The beginning of “Ride Along 2” picks up a year after “Ride Along” left off.

As Ben Barber’s (Kevin Hart) wedding day approaches, Ben heads to Miami with his future brother-in-law James (Ice Cube) to bring down a drug dealer who has been supplying drugs in Atlanta.

Ben just recently became a cop and wants his first big case, but James says he cannot go — only to protect Ben.

The dealer is dangerous, so James wants to go alone and take the dealer down.

James insists Ben should stay in Atlanta with his sister, Angela Payton (Tika Sumpter), whom Ben is marrying, to help plan their wedding.

But when Angela needs Ben out of her hair to plan her perfect wedding, she begs James to take Ben with him to Miami, and James reluctantly agrees to it.

James and Ben work through their problems and work together to stop the dealer and save the day.

I would advise people to go and see “Ride Along 2” because it showcases many laughs and plenty of action that I am sure anyone will find entertaining.
