Expect these five movies to be hits this year

There are many types of movies scheduled to come out this year that are sure to be big blockbusters.

Here are five upcoming movies that I suggest every moviegoer see.

“Deadpool”

The first movie I recommend to go watch is “Deadpool,” which comes to theaters Feb. 12.

This movie is based on Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool.

The movie is the origin story of a former Special Forces operative-turned-mercenary Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds.

Wade Wilson is subject to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers that cause horrendous scarring, making him create Deadpool — his alter ego.

Armed with his new powers and his dark sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who destroyed his life with the experiment.

Moviegoers are sure to enjoy a fresh superhero movie.

“Captain America: Civil War”

The second movie I recommend is “Captain America: Civil War.” The movie is set to be released May 6.

“Captain America: Civil War” takes places after the events that occur in the movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

In the movie, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is leading a newly formed team of Avengers in the continued effort to keep humanity safe after previously defending the world against Ultron in the last movie.

However, events lead to another incident involving the Avengers, resulting in a lot of collateral damage.

After the unforeseen event, political pressure causes an installment of government guidance.

The Avengers’ are then put under constant supervision with strict regulations.

This new governing body within the Avengers causes them to split into two factions: one led by Steve Rogers, who desires for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without being held back by government, the other led by Tony Stark, who favors the governmental oversight.

This sequel to “Captain America: Winter Soldier” is sure to do a great job of tying in the Captain America movies to the Avengers movies.

“The 5th Wave”

The third movie I recommend is “The 5th Wave.” It is set to premiere Friday, Jan. 22.

In “The 5th Wave,” set in modern times, four increasingly deadly attacks, led by alien life forms, have occurred that have left most of Earth decimated.

In a planet filled with distrust and paranoia, 16-year-old Cassie (Chloë Grace Moretz) is on the run, desperately trying to survive and save her younger brother.

As Cassie tries to prepare herself and her brother for the inevitable deadly fifth wave, she meets a young man who may become her final hope for survival.

With a good amount of anticipated action and suspense, this movie is sure to leave all watchers at the edge of their seats.

“Doctor Strange”

The fourth movie I recommend is “Doctor Strange.” The movie will open Nov. 4.

“Doctor Strange” is based on the Marvel Comics character Stephen Strange.

In the movie, Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is threatened by demons controlled by sorcerer Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) but is saved by the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), a millennia old sorcerer who protects the Earth’s dimension.

After Stephen Strange is saved, the Ancient One informs Stephen about his destiny, which is to take on the role of the Ancient One.

After Stephen Strange learns about his destiny, the Ancient One spends years teaching him the art of sorcery and how to tap into the mystic powers of both himself and the world around him.

His newly found powers and skills will eventually lead him to protect Earth from evil.

This hero movie is anticipated to impress all Marvel fans.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

The final movie I recommend to see is “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” coming to theaters March 25.

In this movie, citizens are starting to fear the god-like superhero, Superman, who has been left unchecked.

Due to citizens’ growing fears of the “false god,” Gotham City’s Batman takes on Superman in order to show the world what kind of hero the world really needs, which he believes is him.

With Batman and Superman at war with each other, a new threat quickly rises, putting mankind in greater danger than ever before.

Will Batman and Superman put their differences aside to save mankind or will the world plunge into chaos?

These movies are sure to be a hit this year, leaving moviegoers excited for more.
