Girls’ basketball falls to Mt. Morris
The girls’ basketball team fell to Mt. Morris 35-23 on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at home.
Junior Brandi Morgan led the Hornets with eight points, including two 3-pointers.
The Hornets (2-1) were never able to get the offense going, trailing 17-8 at the half.
Senior Diane Bond did her fair share on offense, scoring six points. But her main contribution was on defense with three steals.
Senior Emalie Lewis played well with eight rebounds
Kearsley was never able to get a good rhythm in the game.
Despite the unforced turnovers, Mt. Morris was able to get better views of the basket.
The Hornets host Swartz Creek on Friday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m.
