The Power of 100 is holding its first sex trafficking discussion in the cafeteria Nov. 20 at 2:30 p.m.

The discussion was organized by Mrs. Diane Wagoner, Power of 100 adviser, and Miss Christina Tipton, a food service employee.

Guest speakers will help lead the discussion.   Miss Jasmine Jones, a sex trafficking survivor, is one of the speakers.

Wagoner hopes this discussion will benefit those in attendance. Her goal is to make students aware of how predators manipulate their victims.

“The motivation is to keep Kearsley students and any other human beings safe from predators,” Wagoner said.  “If we keep one person from becoming a victim, it is all worth it.”
