Boys’ basketball is underway, preparing to go out and take the court.

During the 2013-2014 season, the team finished with a record of 6-15 and is looking to improve this year.

Deitrick Young, junior, three-year varsity player, enjoys playing the game.

“Well, last year wasn’t our best season, so we worked really hard in the offseason to change that,” Young said, ” and I think we’ll be pretty good this year.”

Senior Anton Webster, guard, has a leading role on the team.

“If we play every game to the best of our ability, we will be very successful this season,” Webster said. “We are going to be better this year and be great.”
