Choirs will sing with joyful spirit at holiday concert
There will be a holiday choir concert held in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11.
Five different choirs will sing at the festive concert, and Mrs. Renee Kotzian, choir director, said several songs have been chosen by the upperclassmen.
“I think it’s going to be really nice,” Kotzian said. “We have a lot of seniors in A Capella that will be graduating this year, so we let them pick some of their favorite songs for the concert.”
The performances that will be featured at the concert include the school-day groups: men’s chorus, woman’s chorus, Treble Singers, and A Capella. She said individual soloists will also perform.
Each performance will feature holiday music free of charge.
In addition, Kotzian said her extra-curricular choir will be ready to delight the audience.
“The Melody Makers, our after-school group, also has a really nice, quality sound,” Kotzian said.
