The baseball team swept a doubleheader against Lapeer on March 30, winning 5-2, 4-2.

Junior Noah Jankowski led the team with four hits and two RBI.

Senior Marco Rivera had two doubles.

On the mound, senior Alex Driskill pitched three innings, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out five.

Driskill liked his performance, as well as the team’s.

“It felt great to get on the mound again,” Driskill said.

Senior Tyler Kirkwood pitched four innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out eight.

The Hornets host Davison on April 2 at 4 p.m.
