Students favorite holiday movies
Every year people around the world look forward to the holiday season and all of the festivities involved.
One of the best things about the holiday season is all the movies that are out every year for the most wonderful time of the year.
Along with new movies, there are tons of older movies that were released in previous years that are considered “classics”.
Around holiday season these movies see a revival in popularity and are watched on repeat.
Although there are so many good holiday movies, everyone has that one favorite movie that they look forward to watching at least once during the season.
Freshman Jake Hager’s favorite holiday movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
“Christmas Vacation is my favorite holiday movie because it is a very funny movie that involves a lot of epic moments in the plot.” said Hager.
According to sophomore Gavin Haack, the best holiday movie is Elf.
“Elf is hands down the best Christmas movie because it has Will Pharrell in it and he is one of the funniest actors.” said Haack.
In sophomore Tristian Hubbard’s opinion the best holiday movie is The Christmas Chronicles.
“I really enjoy The Christmas Chronicles because it has one of my favorite people in it from Smokey and the Bandit. Every year when the holidays come around I watch the movie.” said Hubbard.
The best holiday movie, in sophomore Cameron Brasic’s opinion, is How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
“I love How the Grinch Stole Christmas because its a classic holiday movie that has a super sweet plot.” said Brasic. “Also Jim Carrey is in the movie and he conveys the plot very well.”
According to junior Sam Gunn the best holiday movie has to be The Polar Express.
“The Polar Express is the best holiday movie because it teaches children to be creative and to never stop thinking.” said Gunn. “It really taught me how to be more creative and believe in what I want.”
Everyone has that one holiday movie that they will always watch during the holidays and it warms their heart every time.
Students at Kearsley High School have those special movies that they will cherish forever.
