Taylor Swifts new rerecorded album ‘Red (Taylors version)’ is finally out.

Taylor Swift has finally released her long awaited, rerecorded album, “Red (Taylor’s Version)”.

Released 9 years after the original, Red features all the original songs it first did in 2012 plus 9 new songs Swift categorizes as “from the vault”.

Of these 9 we are introduced to the long awaited 10 minute version of “All Too Well”.

Swift also wrote and produced a short film to accompany the song starring “Stranger Things” actor Sadie Sink, and “Maze Runner” star, Dylan O’Brien.

It’s no secret to anyone that the story line of the film and song follows Swift’s infamous relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Many new lines in the song nod to their relationship.

The line, “And I was never good at telling jokes, but the punchline goes ‘I’ll get older, but your lovers stay my age'” really stirred up some drama.

When Swift and Gyllenhaal originally dated, she was 19, while Gyllenhaal was 30, but Gyllenhall’s current girlfriend is only 25, which seems to enrage Swifts fans even more.

While “All Too Well” is one of the main focuses of the album, there is still a lot more to unpack in this re-recording.

The song “Better man” was originally written by Swift, but she gave it over to the band “Little Big Town” and they have since recorded it.

After she performed the song at the Bluebird Cafe in early 2020, fans have been begging for her to record the hit herself.

Many of her famous collaborations, like the song ‘Everything Has Changed’ with Ed Sheeran also made an appearance on the album.

Swift also brought in new artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Chris Stapleton.

Two Spotify records were also broken the day of the album release, one is the record for the most-streamed album in a day by a woman, the other was for the most streamed female artist in a single day.

Senior Mackenzie Simms thought the album was very good.

“LOVED IT!” Simms said.

It’s no doubt to anyone that Swift has worked very hard on this album, and many people are very proud of her.
