Volleyball clawed by Eagles
Volleyball hosted Linden Tuesday, Sept. 25, falling to the Eagles 3-0.
In the first game, the Eagles soared over the Hornets with a 25-18 victory.
In the second game, Linden took charge, winning 25-15.
The Hornets picked up the pace in the third game but ultimately lost to the Eagles 25-18.
Junior Megan Herta feels that the team is working well together despite the losses.
“I think we are playing well together even though we haven’t been winning,” Herta said. “I think our two biggest things we need to work on are covering and serves.”
The girls are 0-5 in the league and 0-6 overall.
The Hornets will be back on the court Thursday, Sept. 26, hosting Carman-Ainsworth in a non-league game.
