The golf team finished seventh in the Metro League Post-Season Tournament on Monday, May 20, at Fenton Farms.

Kearsley carded a 396, while Swartz Creek won the tournament, shooting a 339.

Fenton finished as the runner-up with 341 strokes. Holly shot a 370 for third.

Senior Stephen White led the Hornets with an 89.

Senior Tyler Gronauer aided the team with a 95, while Logan Loyer tallied a 98.

The team finished the season with a 1-7 record, which is good for eighth overall.

The Hornets will buzz at an MHSAA Division 2 regional on Wednesday, May 29, at Mason’s golf course called Eldorado.
