The boys basketball team lost 53-41 to Lapeer in their second MHSAA district game at Davison on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

The boys basketball team was defeated by Lapeer 53-41 in its second MHSAA district game at Davison on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Despite falling to the Lightning, sophomore Conner Cooper was able to score 13 points.

Seniors Saif Dawan and Trevor Shaheen also chipped in an additional eight points apiece.

The Hornets finished 13-9 overall in their season.

Coach Paul Adas is proud of the team’s performance this season.

“It was a great season,” Adas said. “I enjoyed coaching these boys. It was an overall good year.”
