Boys basketball squashes the Tigers’ roar
The boys basketball team scraped past Fenton in a home game Friday, Dec. 14, winning 39-35.
Senior Saif Dawan led the team to victory with 14 points.
Sophomore Braylon Silvas aided the team with 13 points, along with Senior Trevor Shaheen who chipped in nine points.
Dawan said the Hornets displayed teamwork at Friday’s game.
“We played as a team defensively and offensively and tried to stick to the game plan,” Dawan said.
Kearsley is now 3-1 in the season and 1-1 in the Flint Metro League.
The Hornets will play at home against Holly on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
