Boys basketball blows past Bentley

The boys basketball team defeated Bentley on Friday, Dec. 7, on the Hornets’ home court, winning 70-36.

Sophomore Braylon Silvas led the team with a career high of 24 points.

Coach Paul Adas said Silvas had an impressive career-high shooting night.

“He only missed one shot,” Adas said. “It’s the best shooting night I’ve ever seen out of Braylon ever.  He actually shot 10 of 11 from the field.  That’s a pretty good shooting percentage.  He also went 2 of 2 from the free-throw line.”

Senior Trevor Shaheen also chipped in with 12 points, along with senior Saif Dawan, who scored 11 points.

Kearsley’s record now sits at 2-0.

The first league game will be against the Raiders on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
