Goodrich squeezes past soccer team
The soccer team lost at home to Goodrich 2-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Late in the first half, the Martians scored a goal on a free kick.
In the second half, sophomore Rodney Richards scored the only goal for the Hornets, tying the contest.
However, the team’s defense was not enough to stop Goodrich.
The Martians were able to sneak a shot past senior goalkeeper Til Rudel within the final minutes, scoring the winning goal.
The Hornets are back in action Monday, Oct. 1, at home.
