Softball stings the Mustangs
The softball team beat the Clio Mustangs 14-0 and 12-7 in a doubleheader Thursday, April 12.
Leading the Hornets in the first game were junior Jacee Sword and sophomore Lily Brown both having three hits.
Junior Isabelle Easton pitched the shutout for the Hornets.
Brown, Ouellette, and Easton all had home runs.
In the second game, Brown recorded four hits, including a home run.
Senior Desiree Lewis had two doubles and a single.
Sophomore Claire Ouellette was the winning pitcher in the nightcap, and she also hit a home run.
Kearsley is 4-0 (overall), 2-0 in the league.
The Hornets will be back in action Thursday, April 19, at Richmond High School, starting at 4 p.m.
