Kali Uchis’ ‘Isolation’ showcases her rare, remarkable talent

I am blown away by Kali Uchis’ creativity and drive to be successful.

Uchis got her start playing the saxophone and piano when she was a child.

She was introduced to video editing and music production in high school and instantly fell in love with it.

Kali Uchis released her debut album April 6.

“Isolation” features artists like Tyler, the Creator, Steve Lacy, and Bootsy Collins.

The songs discuss romance, empowerment, and having the strength to push through hard times.

In one song, “After the Storm,” Uchis talks about how success doesn’t come easily and you must work for it.

Uchis sings, “The sun’ll come out, nothing good ever comes easy. I know times are rough but winners don’t quit.”

In another song, “Tyrant,” Uchis discusses the power of love and how it can easily distract you from the hard times in life.

She sings, “When everything is a riot, you’re my peace and quiet.”

Uchis announced the release of “Isolation” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, on March 14.

While on the show, she performed her single “After the Storm” with rapper Tyler, the Creator, among other songs.

I personally enjoy all the songs on the album and can see Uchis making it big.

With her groovy and lavish songs, she will continue to make her way to the top of the charts.
