Artwork of the Week by Alex Weidenhammer
Senior Alex Weidenhammer is in Studio Art where students create compositions based on their overall theme. Weidenhammer’s theme is ideas from the ’80s. This colored pencil composition, which is not yet finished, is a replication of the Michelangelo artwork on the Sistine Chapel, The Creation of Adam, with a twist — Slash as the focal point. Slash is the guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, a Los Angeles band that started in 1985.
