Kearsley dropped a league road game at Brandon 31-44 on Jan. 16.

The Hornets (2-9, 0-6) led 11-9 at the end of the first quarter.

But the Blackhawks surpassed the Hornets by halftime, outscoring Kearsley 21-9 in the second quarter.

The top scorers for Kearsley were sophomores Rachel Tolley and Brandi Morgan, scoring eight and seven points, respectively.

Sophomore Brittney Dick also added six points.

The Hornets travel next to Clio on  Jan. 23 at 6 p.m.
