The game Risk teaches strategy
Risk is a game where you use strategy to take over all seven continents.
In the game, you start off with cards that have countries on them. The countries that are on the cards are where you place your soldiers.
Risk teaches you the countries and continents. This game is great to play to learn history because it teaches players their countries and continents and is fun at the same time.
Freshman Christiana Hatch enjoys the game because it has helped her learn geography.
“I like the game Risk because it has helped me to learn my continents,” Hatch said.
While competition may sour the fun if you play with family, the game can be an entertaining way to pass the time.
Freshman Allison Skinner likes how there is always a possibility to win even when you’re losing.
“I like how when you think you’re losing, you always have a chance to change that, like when you turn your cards in for more armies and attack someone with less armies,” Skinner said.
In the game Risk, even if you’re losing, you can always pick yourself back up. You just have to use a good tactic.
Freshman Kaylee DeBlouw likes how the game teaches you how to use strategy.
“I like the board game Risk because it helps you learn strategy,” DeBlouw said. “To win the game, you have to think ahead and have a plan.”
