Students indulge in watching their favorite YouTube channels

We all have different things that entertain us whether it be movies, music, or books.

As technology has progressed more forms of entertainment have developed and people are spending their time doing different things.

Many students have ditched the television, switching to YouTube.

YouTube allows its viewers to subscribe to their favorite “YouTubers” and interact with other fans in the comments.

Here is what three students had to say about the popular website.

“My favorite YouTuber is noahj456. He does livestreams of himself playing the video game Call of Duty,” Brode said. “I enjoy watching his livestreams because they are a guide on how to beat the game and that helps me with the process.”

Brode began watching YouTube when he couldn’t beat a difficult video game, and after that he was hooked.

“I will continue to watch YouTube because of the hilarious entertainers I have discovered. They always cheer me up when I am down,” Brode said.

“YouTube is a good place to learn how to do something, or if there’s something happening in the world, I can find information about it there,” Winterhalder said.

Winterhalder also enjoys watching videos about comedy and video games.

“I got into YouTube because it was so big and everyone would talk about the videos they watched,” Winterhalder said. “The first video I saw was a comedy video, and that’s what pulled me in.”
