“(I like) bonding with the people around me and winning,” White said.

Playing cards can also improve people’s fine and gross motor skills. It can also help with improving brain skills and thinking strategies.

Not many people play card games even though it can be a fun way to spend time with friends or family.

Playing cards can help people with their memories and their self-confidence.

Freshman Emilee Dyer understands that card games involve strategy.

“It’s not about the card you’ve been dealt, it’s how hard you play your hand,” Dyer said.

Today you can access card games on a phone or a computer as well as in person, giving you the ability to play them at anytime or anywhere.
